So...days after I did my rev 2 outline, I realized...I didn't get it right (write ). I've been watching so many....so so so many youtube writing videos and I think the best advice I have gleaned from all the suggestions, hints, and wisdom is "make your story character driven" and "put the main call to action in the first chapter".
So, there I am on vacation, celebrating my aunt's 80th bday when that wicked muse of inspiration bashes me on the head and says...you forgot a chapter...you left out a character...and you need to fix it now. (I might have a little bit of an obsession problem...like I get in the zone for stuff and everything pretty much revolves around it. I pretend to care about other stuff, but in reality all I am doing is buying time until I can get back to the thing I am obsessing about.)
So, here I am after a 6 hour car drive, where I did all the driving, on my computer playing with my story. Fixing my outline, and working on definitions for tomorrow.
Hope you all had an amazing weekend.
