A month-long novel-planning challenge. NaNoWriMo'ers welcome! 2026 sign-ups open Sept 1st. |
I vote yes, if you're taking votes. So long as you can curb the impulse to load all your background data into the story as exposition, having the little details align and make sense starts with YOU understanding where your moving parts are. It'll make your finished product flow more naturally and feel realistic to the reader. Otherwise, some reader is going to say, wait a minute, how did that character get there so fast?! Or similar. |
