| Interesting and informative. Thanks! I just started a new book. I know, another book reference. But writers should be readers. Correct? Anywhoo, in an independent bookstore in Billings, MT I saw a book and read the cover. I had to get it. It's written from the pov of a crow during an apocalypse. So, here's the back cover blurb: S.T., a domesticated crow, is a bird of simple pleasures. And I'll send you the crow's name if you ask. It's not polite to publicly post. And the first line: I should have known something was dangerously wrong long before I did. So the author takes this character, a bird that is domesticated, and inserts this character into a situation where you wouldn't think a bird would have much impact. But it's going to get interesting, judging by just the first 20 pages. Huh. I never would've thought of this. But that is what makes a good story. Tell us your interesting, unusual, never before imagined, story! You can do it! I mean, the crow is killing it folks. NormaJean the cheering Queen ![]() ![]() . . .![]() |
