October Novel Prep Challenge

I think Prep is valuable whether you're speed-writing in November or not. I'd argue it's even more valuable if you stretch the actual novel-writing process out, because things tend to get memory-holed over time. Unless you're a 'pantser' (and there's nothing inherently wrong with that), it helps to organize some backstory so your writing goes more smoothly.
