~ The Poet's Place Cafe~

I am staggered at Dante's ability to write this poetry form for the length of three books. How did he and Chaucer write such long poems? I wrote one for the Long Poem Contest, that was about 400 lines or more. It took me the better part of a month. This is just one of those things that makes me go "Hmmm?"
