Same reason I went back to university after 10 years away - the end of a crappy job. Although when I left - and I was one of their main workers - I was replaced by my sister, and she said things improved a lot, so it was for everyone's benefit.

Including mine. I got that second degree and a job I enjoyed for a decade.
