Here we teach maths and literacy and critical thinking and comprehension across curriculum as par for the course. Every subject needs to include these 4 things. Maths needs a literacy component; English needs some form of numeracy involved. That is a challenge, but it can be done.

I think the one thing missing from our curriculum is vocational integration. How what you learn works in the real world.
