Question of the Day!

Intellectual curiosity. I think all subjects should include a component that strives to answer the "why" behind a lesson. Understanding context, importance, application, and/or background of the subject is incredibly important and helps with other skills like critical thinking, analysis, etc. I have a hard time with lessons that expect you to just memorize something or apply a process without understanding or even really thinking about or placing it in a larger context.
