As much as we hated it as students, speaking to a group is a crucial career and life skill. The earlier we start practicing, ideally in preschool (show and tell), the more second nature it becomes.

And US phys ed is a joke. Schools don't even have facilities or even just the open space. There isn't even a budget for phys ed in elementary schools.
