Just to clarify, the Giant January Celebration is when you've caught up on ALL the years from when the challenge began. I usually spend millions on that. Eek! lol But even the regular celebrations for finishing a year are still pretty good. I promise 5 MBs, but you'll probably get 10-15. The trick is to wait until several people have finished, though. Folks somehow don't seem to feel like it's worth their effort to send out MBs for just a couple of celebrants. But if there are 5 or more, then I get better participation for some reason. Annoying, for sure, but that's how it seems to be. Another tip to help you finish sooner, if I haven't shared this already (I can't recall) -- see if you can double (or triple) up entries. Maybe there's a contest about love and a contest where you have to use certain words. Write a story using those words in a story about love and enter it in both.  You got this!!!  |
