"Pin-up?" I thought that was always in a relatively lewd and somewhat old-fashioned context. Growing up, I eschewed celebrities and instead had a giant periodic table over my headboard  By the time I was a teenager, I had also started collecting calendars of scenics, dogs, cats... I couldn't decide on just one, so I had a few different ones each year. Instant wall art   (I almost forgot, I did go through a phase where I thought the Minions were the cutest things ever... I had a picture of them I'd cut out of a promotional brown paper freezer bag and affixed to the wall! Sheesh...) As an adult, I've considered whether I would have a picture of Dan Reynolds or Ryan Tedder or Elsa and Anna on my phone wallpaper, but I don't because it's so... Predictable. I'm too artistic to do something everyone else is doing. |
