The best ones are repositories of knowledge and training ground for talented mathematicians, scientists, engineers and doctors. In the last 50 years colleges have been created just to make money. Take from the student loans and grants, transfer that crushing debt to the student, done.

The generation coming up is going to have a hard time. Like another post said, learn a trade, learn to fix and make things because it's likely AI is going to be taking all the Bachelor of Liberal Arts jobs.
