I once witnessed what I at first believed to be a mugging/attack of a man in a parking garage. With seeming little effort on his part he tossed a man and woman about. Just as quickly I understood the so-called attackers to be undercover cops attempting an arrest. I noticed the walkie talkies they carried. They were useless underground. This occurred pre-cellphone. I ran to a phone and called in my observations and despite dialing 911 was placed on hold. It probably took all of a few seconds, but it seemed to drag on before the operator admitted undercover cops were patrolling in the area. When I returned to the action, I swear every patrol car in the city had roared into that garage. It took the considerable effort of several officers to subdue that suspect. They just piled on him to force him to the ground. I was asked to complete a written statement and I later attended a trial as a witness. I later learned that that man acted super-human because of drugs.
