Well, last week went okay, all things considered, but it was wrecked somewhat by the kids dragging home some sort of flu. This week, I expect work to be more demanding, but I’m still hoping to bounce back, especially when it comes to reading and being able to stop snacking.
Core Goals
Write, edit, or outline every day: Same number one priority as always.
Continue new WiP: I got some writing done on my current short story project last week, but there’s still some way to go, so I hope to get a lot written on it this week.
Edit and submit flash story: I speed wrote a flash piece last week. I don’t know if it’s any good, but I would like to have new stories out on submission soon, so I hope to get it edited and out this week.
Get exercise: A good habit I want to continue. I hope to get 2-3 exercise sessions done every week.
Stop snacking: This is a goal I’ve been struggling a lot with lately. Vacation and then sickness did not exactly help. Still, I’m hoping to stay clear of any sugary or fatty snacks until Friday at least.
Do vocal exercises: Yet another good habit to keep working on. I want to get back into doing the vocal exercises 1-2 times a day.
Stretch Goals
Read short stories: Same as last week. I don't have a firm goal, but I want to read at least one or two published short stories this week.
Be active on Codex: This week, I’m hoping to do more than just check in on the forums. Either I should participate in discussion or give my author thread a much needed update.
Do a WYRM review: I got started on a review last week. Now, I just need to complete it.
