I understand that. It's a costly habit not to mention it's not a great for your health. My wife was a smoker but she had quit back in Dec of 1986. It didn't matter either. She still got COPD and it got her in the end. She battled it for 5yrs 9 months and made a total mess of her lungs. I hope you can avoid this but this is an insidious disease because in the beginning you don't even know. I'm going to the lung doctor to get tested because being a bus driver along with driving many other vehicles, exposed me to all the fumes that these vehicles pump at me. Which can also trigger COPD. So I will be tested even though I show no symptoms to see if I'm in the very early stages of COPD. This way they can start treating early if I do and may help myself last longer than I normally would but hoping I pass it without any issues. I wish you the best as well. |
