October Novel Prep Challenge

Well, I'm definitely good with the increase to 60k. I've been on both ends of the spectrum with some years reaching 120,000 and 160,000. Other years I don't make it to 50k in the month. There are many factors that go into place during the actual month.

I will add this: for those that don't want to do 60k, there was always the option to be a rebel. I even have my NaNo plus group so that people could make their own goals for the month and any other time of year. So, one can chat with the others doing the novel goal but they could try for novelette, novella, or work on old unfinished projects. So, there are options even if the goal gets adjusted.
