And that really is the point - your perception changes according to which seat you're sitting in. If I could be the pilot, I doubt that I'd have a problem with flying at all. Being a passenger is entirely different. I feel the same about driving a car but a little less intensely.

The big weakness of the helicopter is that little rotor in the tail. Lose that and you're in a spinning top without control.
