wow this was a great question. simply don't know the answer. There are people who can over ride an animal's mind and make them do things, that are more human than species specific. I don't think that is a nice way to treat an animal. I want a cat, dog, or horse to be a cat, dog, or horse. Then I can trust their responses to a human plus animal friendship. Giving part of your own characteristics into an animal's brain is not power it is possession. And don't kid yourself if you possess a pet's brainwaves you can be identified by the actions of the animal. There use to be an advertisement in the Sunday paper many years ago by a man who would teach you how to contact an animal mentally. Also, there are people who do this and write books about it. Some of them only want to help animal human responses which is a good thing.
