Definitely, though they're not an obsession and I don't fret when I miss one.
Each streak has a special mini-challenge of their own, which can be fun. Like the forum streak for example. For me, it's just too easy to say 'Hi!' or whatever. I get way more satisfaction from searching out neglected old forums and bringing them back to life. (Actually, I might even sponsor this during Birthday week/month if anyone would care to join me?)
