Question of the Day!

The top two things that inform my viewing habits are personal interest (i.e., I watch a lot of trailers, read a lot about movies and books, have a lot of friends and colleagues who work on movies, books etc. and develop an opinion about whether I want to watch or read something that I know is coming out at some point), and personal recommendations from other people who have seen things. I'll occasionally look at professional "best of the year" lists or individual reviews just to see if I've missed anything interesting, but by far most of my media consumption habits are informed by personal opinions.
