What do you think of road trips? Do you have any memories you'd like to share with us?

Yes, when I was about ten years old, our family (mom, dad, my brother and me), went from California to Washington state to visit one of my father's brothers. I don't remember much about his brother but I remember how much fun the trip itself was. We even took our dog; that was interesting. We stayed in motels and had to keep pup quiet.

We stop on the way for lunch which was always like a picnic. We had watermelon, ice cream. I remember one motel had a wooden glider type swing they we used a lot while we stayed there. Seeing the sites were so much fun. It was in the summer time, I remember, and well took are time getting to Washington and so we stop and the beach often, as we were going up near the coast. It was one of the best trips ever.
