No one else said it so I will. "Perfection is the enemy of the good" It took a long time for me to understand that. My perfectionist streak drove my teachers crazy. I was much happier when I lightened up. But to answer the question: 1. Being raised by a perfectionist made me want to be perfect. Bad, bad, bad. 2. Nowadays, it's called protection. When I travel I dare not make certain mistakes. |
