WORDS SET FREE

I’m just a writer of simple tales
Words of thought to fill my sails
I move upon a tranquil sea
With words of pure simplicity

I chart my course upon a star
That leads me here, or takes me far
I’ll ask of you so many times,
Please to read between the lines

For I must impart an image true
The gift I wish to give to you
A page once more in life to turn
That for which a heart does yearn
~
Am I still a shadow you can’t find?
Weigh the anchor of your mind
You’re the captain of a ship at sea
Sail on toward your destiny.
