The Octelle is an eight-line poem conceived by Emily Romano. The structure consists of 8, 8, 7, 7, 7, 7, 8, 8 syllables per line with a rhyme psttern of AAbbccAA, where the first and second lines are repeated for the seventh and eighth lines.
