Question of the Day!

What kind of art do you like? Art for me is just environment. I have a painting I found at the salvation army of a tall ship in rough seas. It might be paint by number. It's hanging over my desk. Also, one in the basement of an appaloosa horse. Also, I have a picture of a bird, actually two bird pictures. One is a painting on weathered wood. I found at a yard sale. The other is a chickadee painted on a piece of rock, shale maybe. And a really large 2.6 inches - 3 ft. diameter (round) weaving from grass of some type. Reminds me of Africa. Or, a South American Island. I think I found that in the Salvation Army too. A macramé wreath for Christmas, Keith made.
We are an artsy family. I crochet, my brother worked with design in leather, I have a Crochet cross bookmark and a beaded rosary made by my mother. I have a daughter -in-law who paints. She painted me a picture of a caricature of a lion lying down with a lamb which I really like. I think people meld, whatever kind of art into their lives that fits their lifestyle, as they go along.
