Welcome to Writing.Com, Lily Anne Pierce As for time to write: Figure out that time of the day when you feel the most creative. Mine is first thing in the morning. Then, carve out 15 to 20 minutes during that period to just write what moves you. Every third day (or so), take some time to edit what you've written. Finally, when you're ready, take a deep breath and enter one of your pieces in one of the member-run contests. There are contests which take items as few as 300 words. To find some of them, check out "Contest Clues" Best of luck in all your writing endeavors.
