I am very new at poetry, and I find this form hard for me. Quihadi, you have selected such beautiful words that tell the story of the Ocean Storm. Do you have a particular way, like sketching a draft to pull your words together? Coming up with the syllables is easy but acquiring the right descriptive words - well, I am amazed how writers can come up with certain descriptions. Maybe I just don't spend enough energy on it. Your 'continuous wings of winds' is beautiful. What brought you to that phrase? Any insight as to how you pick your words? Or is it personal experience living it? I would appreciate your review of my Tanka, thanks. Seabreeze |
