Question of the Day!

I am not a fan of sports people being role models. However, some could be. A majority should not be, because they tend to be arrogant. I have met some players (here in the US), and they presented as above others. I felt they looked down on their fans or just ordinary people. Who should be a role model? There was a time when parents would be the best role models, but I am not sure anymore. SInce, I am an older person, my father was my role model. I never aspired to be an athlete and that is probably why I don't focus on them being picked out. I believe it has to be up to those around the child or teen. If we want society to get back on some kind of morals track, then we as a society should become responsible people to be looked up to. This is just my thoughts and opinion.
