Question of the Day!

Not really the worst but possibly the most disappointing - my 50th, which was in January.

I had my sister over which made it a wonderful day but my parents didn't ring (they rang the next day saying they didn't ring on the day so as not to interupt time with my sis. I get that kinda but also not; wasn't like we had to talk for hours). And my brother, who'd been out for a month over Xmas went back before my birthday and then almost did a 'oh right... let's try to get together at another time). Sort of understand that too but honestly I took leave and went down country for his 50th birthday (with a present and a card).

Seems so stupid to be disapointed since I guess I didn't expect much. Maybe I'm just a bitter old 50-year-old! I'm seeing my parents in March/April (in fact paying for a non-cheap hotel for my parents on my mother's birthday..).
