My birthday is today. So, exactly 42 years ago I was all excited about my roller-skating party just to get a stomach virus. My party had to be cancelled, and I was miserable all that day what with all the tummy issues on top of not being able to celebrate my birthday with my friends. Even the idea of cake and ice-cream made me nauseous! I think my parents made the best decision to cancel the party, but I still wasn't happy about it.
