Disney -- specifically the animated movies.

Don't get me started on the live-action/CGI remakes. In the wise words of Thumper's father:

"If you can't say somethin' nice...don't say nothin' at all..."


Suffice it to say, the classic animated Disney movies were colorful, memorable, musical, and actually told a story. And the cinematography, craftsmanship, and voice acting was excellent. Most of them were actually well-crafted films, and some of them (like Treasure Planet) were underrated in terms of their quality storytelling and character development.

There is more that could be said, but we'll leave that for another time, another notebook comment.
