Her mysteries may be pulp but it's her writing style I love. She's 85 now but I met her in Kansas maybe 20 years ago.

Dead writers: poet Emily Dickenson, novelist James Joyce, Tarjei Vesaas, who wrote novellas and playwright Henrik Ibsen. I haven't read everything they wrote. I'm not that disciplined.
