Oh my! Having seen a few of the dozens of Bond movies, I wouldn't be surprised if that actually was part of the special effects.

In the movie Live and Let Die, Bond shoots the bad guy with an air generating bullet. The villain floats up into the ceiling of their underground lair and pops! Baddie pieces everywhere.

Weird graphic violence was a hallmark of the series.
