Fosters is what we export and give to tourists. No Australian in their right mind would willingly drink Fosters. Truly awful, and not a fair representation of Australian beer, which, in my opinion, is second only to Belgian beer in taste, smoothness and drinkability.

So, what to drink? Well, Cooper's is the best. By far. West End, Tooheys and Great Northern are all fine. We have many, many craft beers that are amazing. No matter your taste in beer, there will be a local one that will suit. But Coopers is the best... and Fosters is the second worst. 2nd? XXXX is, to me, the bottom of the barrel. Know why they call it XXXX? Because you're not allowed to write "SH*T" on a can.
