It's my all-time fave movie.



As for books, it's too many to name. But if I had to choose, maybe... Sanna Seven Deers: Feuerblume. (In German)

Protagonist Alex Habicht sets off for a time-out in Canada, wanting to determine who she really is and what she really wants out of life. Against her overpowering father. She finds new friends, an au pair job, almost gets assaulted and eventually finds even love... which she is strong enough to defend against her conservative parents (father), eventually.


Dude, can you tell I have an unresolved father issue? And, since November 28, 2016 absolutely NO means to resolve it? Es ist zum Kotzen!
