One of my favorite things to do, once upon a time, was to build model cars. They were mostly sold by Revell, they were plastic, and they usually came with some decals for customization. Any kid can buy one today wherever such things are sold (or online). What they can't easily do - from what I've seen - is assemble them like I could. Why? Because back in the 60's, the model glue and little bottles of paint were right next to the models, and you could walk out of the store, back to your house and get right to work. Nowadays, you have to be over 18 to buy either the glue or the paint. ![]() |
