I think she's a Sci-Fi-author.

I have her book The Left Hand Of Darkness on TBR-stack, which is about a weird planet called Winter, where inhabitants – when I understood it right – are neutrals and only turn into "men" and "women" during, er... when they make sure their race lives on.*Smirk2*

The book was mentioned in a space doc about how real science fiction really is, a few months ago, when I couldn't sleep.*Blush*

Why would I read that book eventually?*Think* Because it sounds freakish enough for me to interest me.*Wink*
