Don't worry too much about wording your 'what if' properly. The suggested wording is really just to help you understand the goal of the exercise. If you spent fifteen minutes on it - even just thinking about what the heck it means and how it applies to your project - and it helped you understand the different directions your project might take, then you've successfully completed the assignment.
