Gosh, that's a hard one because the memory isn't 100% going back to the 1970's.

One of the things I do remember is the anticipation of Saturday, specifically , Saturday morning cartoons, but Saturday usually brought shopping trips and visiting grandmothers so knowing all that I'll say,

When I was a kid, a perfect Friday night included thoughts of Saturday and how fun Saturday would be for a kid like me.
