Boiled, fried, poached, yes. Scrambled, yuck. I think my favorite eggs are the sort my mom used to make when we kids were little. She would toast bread, fry eggs over-easy in bacon grease, and place the eggs on the toast. Then she'd cut up the combo so that the toast pieces became smothered in all that runny yolk. A dash of salt and, voila!, Egg on Toast. We never turned that breakfast down. |
