When I was very young, I remember a time when some friends and I were playing a sort of complex hide and seek game. One guy was looking for the rest of us and I was with my sister hiding behind a bush. The feller searching was getting close and the two of us were finding it hard to remain hidden behind our bush. We struggled to get as low as possible but it was apparent that our feet were sticking out in plain view. But my sister had the answer. "Quick," she said, "duck down and close your eyes.
