Good morning and welcome to Writing.Com, Angel. It seems like so long ago, but I too know about that crippling effort you mention with respect to some aspect of writing gone wrong. In my case I received a devastating review of some writing that others thought good. For some reason it hit me hard and I stopped writing for almost eight years. I hope you can channel your struggle into your writing--I believe it will give your writing strength. And don't let anyone steal your thunder. You might search out a group that shares your interests. Look under the Navigation menu to the left of your page. Browse By Type --> Groups, then check out the various groups and email the owner of that group asking to join.
