If they are liars then it ain't happening. No relationship can grow or go anywhere if there is no honesty involved. Besides, who wants a friend they can't trust? I for one would rather not have to watch my back every time I'm around someone. Also, if they abuse hard drugs, that's a no-go. You can't trust people on hard drugs. They lie, they steal, and the drugs are way more important than any relationship. Been down that road before and have the burns (not literally, of course) to show for it.
