Basically everything you find in a North American – Canada included, SORRY! ![]() ![]() Soon after starting my job in Canada in 2016, I stopped going there and went to the European delis my temporal hometown Barrie, ON, was blessed with... among them an Italian and German one. ![]() ![]() Granted, most of my earnings went on rent and food, but at least it was authentic and restrictedly controlled food. ![]() It makes me appreciate the food here – and my culinary multinational residence country, Luxembourg – even more... and hurt for the US who don't have this "culinary protection". ![]() Granted, the Food Industry is s***ting eaters here, too, but as mentioned, there are stricter food restrictions in Europe than in the US – think of my beloved Parmesan which may only legally be called that when it comes from the respective region in Italy, or Schwarzwälder (Black Forest) Schinken (Ham). ![]() |
