That's so true.
Dad passed away on Nov. 14, 2023.
The boy who was caring for him had been hired on a monthly basis, so he was here till Nov. 30. I decided to brace myself and use that time to sort the medicines and equipment and go to the doctor with a list. I donated some stuff to the doctor, who treats economically deprived patients without charging, and some to the old age home. I also washed and donated a whole lot of clothes. Some clothes which I can wear, I kept and am using.
I haven't been able to sort the photographs and magazine clippings. I know that'll lead to memories and tears. I simply don't have the courage.
