That vikings were all Norse. It turns out that some of the remains on viking funeral ships were of asiatic descent. So viking was more of a job title than an ethnicity.


Also the Norse weren't just raping and pillaging. They were explorers, traders and a rather egalitarian society. Both men and women could be warriors.
