Canada. My husband and I would start in B.C. and visit family and friends there, take in the sights, go to Minter Gardens, eat some squeaky cheese (fresh curd cheese - it squeaks when you chew it), enjoy the mountains, go to the casino in Prince George to eat at the Russian restaurant there, and at some point head up to the Yukon Territories to visit with more family. We'd take the train across the country to the east coast (Ontario, to be exact) and visit family on that side of the country. There we'd visit the Thousand Islands, the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, and anywhere else family thought would be cool for us to see. Then take a rental car back across Canada, stopping and playing every disc golf course we could and camping out along the way. Spend more time with Mom and Dad in B.C. and grudgingly head home when our month was over. |
