Question of the Day!

Last year I hit twenty years at my job and this year makes twenty-one years. In middle school, I was in a reading lab class because despite being a voracious reader, I had difficulty with reading aloud because of my tendency to talk very fast, and I needed help learning to read aloud at a more normal speed. Throughout the class, the teacher would pick a book for us to read together as a class, and then we would pick a book to read on our own and I think give a small report. At the end of the year, I'd read so many books between the assigned books and the ones on my own that my teacher gave me an award for the most books read in her class for the whole year. I still have the award and it continues to fuel my voracious reading habit.
