Well, if Obsidian had made it, it would have been a buggy mess on release.

Thing is, Larian are already a well known RPG maker with plenty of recognition from Divinity Original Sin 1 & 2. Tacking on the Baldur's Gate brand I feel was unecessary.

Personally, I'd like to see either Eberon properly being used as a setting (i.e: for an intrigue / conspiracy heavy story), or Spelljammer, or Dark Sun
