Yes, just ask Frank Abignail. He evaded the FBI for a long time just by hiding in plain sight. He posed as an airline pilot and a doctor for years before finally being caught. If you keep a low profile and don't make a scene you can hide anywhere....supposing you're willing to live without a cell phone and only use public computers in libraries. Usually they only want proof of residency for a card. Thats all you need to use one of their computers. As long as you can find a mailing address or two to use...you don't have to live at said house or rent a PO box even. You just Phrog off someone's mailbox.(according to Lifetime that's a colloquialism for living in someone else's house, I'm just extending it to mailboxes. I know a couple of homeless people have done this in our area.) Oh yeah, don't look at ceilings in stores or use self checkout...avoid drones and don't post your location or selfies on social media. Stay in a small town where local PD doesn't have the budget for traffic cams. You could probably hide for a long time that way. |
